Not to be confused with Riverside Park (La Crosse), which is a municipal park. For other amusement parks of the same name, see Riverside Amusement Park (disambiguation)
Riverside Amusement Park is an amusement park that has been operating in La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA, since 1990. Smaller than most parks with the same name, Riverside Amusement Park attracts between 30,000 and 35,000 visitors per year.[1] Its location is an unusual one for an amusement park: near La Crosse Municipal Airport at the intersection of Interstate 90 and U. S. Route 53/Wisconsin Highway 35.
Attractions include go cart tracks, batting cages, a miniature golf course, an arcade, activities geared toward pre-teenage children, and a corporate picnic area.[2][3][4] The park is open to the public on weekends in April and daily from May 1 to Labor Day each year.[5]
Dennis Lovold, president of Riverside Amusement Park since its 1990 grand opening, is also president (and co-owner) of the corporation that built it (and continues to own it).[6]
